I'm More - Day 2

NO ONE // NOVEMBER 24, 2020

Who will bring any charge against those whom God has chosen? It is God who justifies. Who then is the one who condemns?

Romans 8:33-34

Today we are continuing with the questions Paul asked at the end of Romans 8. These next two questions can be answered with two simple words -- no one! No one can bring charges against us! No one can condemn us!

In the book of John we read the story of how Jesus refused to condemn the woman caught in adultery. He was gentle with her and forgave her! He is also gentle and forgiving with us, acting as our advocate before the Father. Jesus defends us from accusations and takes all of our guilt on himself.

Included in the "no one" is you. We can be so much harder on our ourselves than we are on other people. Often the shame we carry is self-afflicted. Don't bring charges against yourself! Jesus has already paid to set you free. Today choose to leave that shame at the cross and walk away free.
