No Más - Day 5

I also pray that you will understand the incredible greatness of God’s power for us who believe him. This is the same mighty power that raised Christ from the dead and seated him in the place of honor at God’s right hand in the heavenly realms.

Ephesians 1:19-20

The same power that raised Jesus from the dead is at work inside of us!

When we feel like giving up. When we feel like saying, “No más!” When we face trials of every kind, we can survive because we have a recurring resurrection! The resurrection power of Jesus is at work in us. This power is sufficient for life and greater than death.

What has being a believer cost you? What are you dying to? Friends? Pleasure? The cross and the resurrection are not simply one-time historical events, but ongoing realities that we experience daily. Daily we go through the consequences of dumb choices, things we don’t deserve, or are called by God into things we would rather escape. Wherever there's a Friday — a crucifixion — there will always be a Sunday — a resurrection. Wherever there is suffering, there is a coming glory. I may hurt on Friday, but if I hold on to God, Sunday is coming.

Are you currently experiencing a Friday crucifixion? Will you let us pray for you?
