Different Destiny - Day 2

At this, the administrators and the satraps tried to find grounds for charges against Daniel in his conduct of government affairs, but they were unable to do so. They could find no corruption in him, because he was trustworthy and neither corrupt nor negligent.

Daniel 6:4

From the time he was young, Daniel was a man of integrity. That integrity supported him in being able to handle a high powered position without caving into compromise or negligence. When his rivals attempted to have him ousted they found there were no charges they could bring against him.

Yesterday we discussed how we have each been gifted by God in unique and exceptional ways. God wants to do mighty things in and through us. If we attain those blessings before we are ready, the blessing might destroy us or we might destroy it. Our character must be strong enough and deep enough to sustain the outward growth. God loves us too much to give us things too soon.

God is using 2020 to get us ready for what he has ready for us. He is removing impurities, transforming mindsets and purifying motives. How have you seen God at work in your life during quarantine? How might he be getting you ready for your future? What does it look like for you to work with him in the process? Is there something he is asking you to do today to work with him in your preparation? Reflect on these questions during your time of prayer.
