There are so many people who have been displaced by the fires that have erupted in our local community. This includes one of our partners, the Union Rescue Mission. The Creek Fire in Sylmar is threatening their Hope Gardens facility which houses women and children who were experiencing homelessness and living on skid row. The women and children have been evacuated and are in desperate need of supplies.
We are accepting donations of the below items in our church parking lot until 7pm, which will then be taken to these families tonight.
Thank you for living open-handed, church! We are blessed to be a blessing.
