WHAT IS YOUR PRAYER? // JANUARY 15, 2021
And this is my prayer: that your love may abound more and more in knowledge and depth of insight, so that you may be able to discern what is best and may be pure and blameless for the day of Christ, filled with the fruit of righteousness that comes through Jesus Christ — to the glory and praise of God.
This week we have seen that Paul did not allow imprisonment to steal his joy. Instead, he thought of others, communicated his love and prayed bold prayers. This gave him great joy.
How might God be using Paul's example to spur you on past self-centeredness and timidity to a bold faith? What is your prayer? What are you believing for God to do during these 21 days? In your journal write out your prayer to the Lord. Don't hold back — go bold! Pray for the sick to get well. Pray for the lost to be found. Pray for obstacles to be overcome! Pray for whatever it is that God puts on your heart and then rest in his faithfulness.
