The Victors – Day 1

So in Christ Jesus you are all children of God through faith, for all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ. There is neither Jew nor Gentile, neither slave nor free, nor is there male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus.

Galatians 3:26-28

Paul is clear that as Christians, we are all God's children. There aren't distinctions between us, but we're equal heirs. Our identity can align with his truth, and we're each empowered to grow.
We have a level playing field as believers: no one is better than another; no one is more special or more righteous than the next. For those who know their God shall be strong and do mighty exploits (Daniel 11:32). We're playing on the same field, and we ALL can do great things. Healthy sheep will reproduce. The key? Knowing our God. And church is our health club -- let's face it: sometimes it's even a hospital -- so we can develop spiritually. We can come as we are, be accepted as we are, but be inspired and challenged to reach for more as we come to understand our identity as believers.

Are you all that God says you are? Does your identity align with his truth? Does your life reflect strength and mighty exploits? You were born to be a victor, and you have all that you need at your disposal. Your bible is your first aid kit; spend time today reading, meditating and reflecting on what it says. Know God, know who he's said you are and meditate on his ways. If you want to exercise your health club benefits, start your transformation by renewing your mind. Where your mind goes, your life will follow.
