NO WORRIES // APRIL 12, 2021
Be anxious for nothing ...
Paul writes that we, as believers, should not be anxious about anything. Easier said than done, right, Paul?!
Let's keep it real: we all deal with or suffer from worry or anxiety. Worry acknowledges: we're not always adequate to meet the demands of life on our own strength.
So what are we to do? It's important to remind ourselves of some God truths. He is everywhere! Stopping and knowing God’s got our back, God’s got our front, and God’s right by our side is reassuring. What should we fear?
What are some of the things you have been anxious about? What does God's word have to say about your situation? The next time you’re tempted to worry, spend time in his word and specifically consider reflecting on these verses -- Philippians 4:6,7 and Psalm 27:1. God is with you and for you!
This Wednesday, we launch a new Bible study on Zoom called Come + See: Life in the Church. Sign up for it today, and join a community where you can spend time in his word with others!
