REFLECT LIGHT // OCTOBER 14, 2021
And God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light.
Light was spoken into a physically dark world and as followers of Christ, we are to be “the light of the world” (Matt. 5:14) ourselves by reflecting his light.
Lovers of the light look to the light, they follow the light and they also reflect the light. Are you reflecting light or darkness? The light of Jesus overcomes the darkness of the world. By reflecting his light, we can illuminate what is true and good -- and bring peace, healing, and hope to our hurting world.
Like a peg from a Litebright, alone it isn't impressive -- it's not much, but when it's plugged in with other pegs, it lights up and creates a beautiful picture. How different would the world be if the lovers of the light came together to reflect his light?
Today, think about the people around you, in your work environment, school or gym. How can you begin to reflect his light to them? Maybe it's offering prayer, giving a word of encouragement or inviting them to church or sharing a sermon. Let's show God's love and reflect the light of Jesus today!
