System Administrator

We have a full-time position for a System Administrator available with our Information Technology team. This team provides technology support to ministries, staff and various events of Faith Community Church. The right person for this position will have the following:
Education and/or Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, computer science, or related technical field
  • Minimum 5 years of IT experience helpdesk or administration

Skills Needed

  • Experience with Windows 7 and higher
  • Experience with Microsoft Server 2008/2012 and Active Directory
  • Experience with VMware a plus
  • Extreme Networks switch experience a plus
  • Strong communication and work management skills
  • Experience with Microsoft SQL Server and Reporting Services a plus

Job Duties

  • Desktop Administration
  • Helpdesk Support
  • Patching Servers and Workstations
  • Backup support with network administration
  • Able to lift up to 50lbs
